Landscape Design

Meg Calhoun has been a successful, residential landscape designer in the Atlanta area for over 6 years. She enjoys working closely with each client to deliver a design that not only meets, but exceeds their expectations.

From the initial on-site consultation to the final walk through, Meg listens closely to the needs and vision of each client and then delivers a well thought out, creative design that will enhance their lifestyle and be uniquely their own. She has a passion for people and plants that is evident when you meet her and is an asset in the industry.

Meg holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Social Sciences from Valdosta State College and a Degree in Horticulture and Certifications in Landscape Design and Management from Chattahoochee Technical College. She has been a Georgia Certified Plant Professional since 2012.

My Philosophy

When I first visited Atlanta as an adult, I was in awe of the lush landscapes and beautiful plants that grew here. It was only a matter of time before I moved south and would eventually realize my dream of becoming a landscape designer. I absolutely love what I do and thrive on working with people to help them realize the potential of their landscape.

It is  important to me to create a design that wows the client; a design that provides them with not only what they were hoping to achieve, but something even better. I feel strongly about using the right plant in the right place. Colors, textures, size and function are so important and I feel that it is my job to be concerned about those things. I want the finished project to be not only functional and beautiful, but to stand the test of time.

A design/build project is a collaborative effort. On-going communication, helping the client make choices along the way and working within their budget are extremely important to me. I hope the experience I bring to each client is one of confidence in their investment and joy with the end result.
